The New Graduate Nurse Residency Program fosters a positive experience for acute care nurse residents as they transition into practice. Our program is here to help you grow professionally with guidance from supportive cohorts, training opportunities, and monthly interactive learning sessions focused on patient outcomes, leadership, and other professional roles. Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee is offering a 5-month Operating Room RN Orientation Program is designed for both new graduates and experienced RNs. This full-time program runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, and includes six weeks of immersive perioperative training through hands-on labs, simulations, and digital learning. Applicants must hold a current WI RN license and be flexible for full-time shifts post-orientation. Admission is competitive, and a drug screen, physical exam, and background checks are required.

More than 1,400 Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN), including Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Certified Nurse Midwives and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists are employed throughout Advocate Aurora in a variety of both inpatient and ambulatory settings.
